European Cluster Collaboration Platform’s (ECCP) EU-South Africa Matchmaking Event, taking place on-site in Cape Town, South Africa from 17 to 19 November 2026.
What is the mission about?
The event will be hosted in the context of the Africa Tech Festival 2026, one of Africa’s leading events for technology and innovation. The mission will highlight a matchmaking event that will bring together European and South African clusters, SMEs, business networks and innovation actors. It will offer the participants the opportunity to explore cooperation with the South African innovation ecosystem and promote C2C, C2B and B2B collaboration in areas such as:
- Digital technologies (including AI and gaming),
- Green energy and clean tech,
- Textiles and clothing, and
- Transport (maritime, green mobility and electric vehicles).

- Please note that participation in the event is completely free of charge. Clusters may receive reimbursement of up to EUR 1 700 to cover return economy flights to India and a maximum three-night hotel stay
